Design Charrette
Dedicated exclusively to the Route 3 Corridor

The day would begin with an opening presentation by Ed Roberge followed by breakout tables to allow participants to focus on specific issues such as streetscapes and green spaces, pedestrian safety and connectivity, parking, round-abouts vs. traffic signals and other possible topics. The charrette would end with presentations by each working group.

Village Issues Charrette

A presentation by City staff about the Village’s assets and opportunities will be followed by several small topical breakout work groups, facilitated by City staff, focusing on issues such as Rivco Site Redevelopment, Tannery Redevelopment, MVSD “abandoned” properties (Washington St Fire House, Washington St School, & Summer St School), Thirty Pines Development & Potential Grocery Store Sites. Groups would develop goals and objectives for each issue, flesh out rough concepts, and then present their ideas to the rest of the group.
