Open Door Community Kitchen has depended on the time and effort of volunteers who share a concern and commitment to those in need in our community. This organization is always looking for volunteers willing to donate their time preparing food, serving meals to guests, and cleaning up afterwards.

| Adopt-A-Spot |
 Groundwork Concord coordinates dozens of volunteers and corporate sponsors to maintain over 50 Adopt-A-Spot sites around the city annually. Adopters sign a two year contract to plant, maintain and make improvements to
their sites.
Two Penacook spots, Penacook Gateway Sign Landscapes on Village Street, north and south, await willing volunteers.
