Volunteer Opportunities With the PVA

Business Committee

Members are needed to start up a business committee to meet on a quarterly basis to find ways to promote local businesses and discuss economic development in downtown and throughout Penacook. Ideally, meetings would be held at a different member's business each time, giving all a chance to highlight their business location. The Business Committee would promote membership in the Penacook Village Association.

Streetside Banner Committee

Business banners are exchanged twice a year, in the spring and late fall. The PVA is looking for volunteers willing to change out the banners that promote Penacook businesses. If you are one of the business owners, please volunteer so your banner can be switched in accordance with the schedule. The Banner Committee could be a subcommittee of the Business Committee.

Future volunteer opportunities will be posted here and on our Facebook page.

One recurring opportunity is the Holiday Tree Lighting Committee, which will need volunteers in mid-October to help plan the event. If you have ideas for adding more events or sparkle to this annual event, jot them down and contact us when the call for volunteers is announced!
